Math 9 - Monday we start our unit on Surface Area and Volume. You will likely have a quiz on Thursday on Surface Area of Composite Shapes.

WA 10 - You will have Monday - Wednesday to work on your Clinometer Activity then your project. Your project is due NO LATER than Thursday. We will start our new unit, Unit Pricing, on Thursday.

Science 9 - We will be picking out essay topics this week.

Career 9 - We will learn about how the internet/social networking can be used for good (and how to avoid the evils of social networking). We will also finish up our MS Office lessons.

Math 9 - This week, you have health on Monday. Your assignments are due on Wednesday. Your test is on Thursday. Enlargement/Reduction project is also due on Wednesday.

WA 10 - We will be testing bridge strength on Tuesday. You have a skill check on Monday. You will complete a review assignment on Monday/Tuesday. It is due on Wednesday. If two or more bridges are not complete, your test will be Wednesday (should all bridges be complete and well done, including write ups, I have no need to test you). We start our triangles unit on Wednesday or Thursday!

Science 9 - We are starting a very exciting EcoHouse project this week.

Career 9 - We are starting our Life and Career Plan project this week.

Spring break is upon us! Have a safe and enjoyable 10 days off! (Please return to school all in one piece!).

If you need to get a hold of me over the break, I will check my email at least once per day. You can email me, tweet me, or comment on this (or another) post. I'll do my best to respond within 24 hours (this means don't leave it until Sunday night!).

Math 9 - This week, we have math Monday - Wednesday. We will be continuing our similarity unit. Your exam is scheduled for the Wednesday after the week off.

WA 10 - Coming up this week, we will be working on our project and finishing up our unit. Your project is due on April 8. You need to complete this unit by the end of the week, including your skill checks.

Science 9 - You will finish off your chapters with Miss Windrim and Miss Gibson. Your exam is on Thursday!

Career 9 - You are learning about post-secondary options in the first half of the week, then we will learn a bit about high school planning for the last two days.

Math 9 - We will be doing individual reviews on Monday. Your project is due at 8:48 on Tuesday. You have health on Tuesday/Wednesday. Your exam in on Thursday. We start our next unit, Similarity, on Friday!

WA 10 - Monday, you have review time. Your project is also due on Monday. Your exam is on Tuesday. We start our next unit, Angles and Parallel Lines, on Wednesday.

Science 9 - Monday, you have about half the class to review and demos with the pre-interns. Your exam is on Tuesday, the next unit, Electricity, starts on Wednesday!

Career 9 - Topics for the week are: Stress, Plagarism and Using the Library(with Mrs. Mayer), Goal Setting, and an introduction to Career Cruising.

Math 9 - Quiz on Sovling Linear Equations on Monday. You will have a quiz on Solving linear inequalities on Thursday (we will learn about them on Monday/Tuesday).

WA 10 - Skill Check #3 Monday. We will start temperature and mass conversions this week.

Science 9 - Remember to comment on last Friday's post with where you
found science in the health presentation from last Friday. We will delve deeper into the periodic table and atoms/elements this week.

Career 9 - Quiz on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel on Wednesday. Your W5 Report: Sext-Ed is due tomorrow (the assignment form and link to the episode is on last Friday's post.) We will be learning about google tools, Wolfram Alpha, and good blogging practices this week.
